Former Secretary of State Pompeo Launches Scathing Attack on Trump

In a shocking move, Secretary of State Pompeo recently fired a barrage of verbal missiles in the direction of former boss President Trump during an interview.

The rift between Trump and Pompeo has exposed the core ideological differences between both republicans and the conservatives, the kindling necessary for what could become an all out conservative civil war.

Trending politics reports, in an interview on Fox News on Sunday, Mike Pompeo, the former secretary of state during the Trump administration, took shots at his former boss.

Former President Donald Trump was accused of not being a “true Conservative leader” by Pompeo before he said he would be a better president than Trump if he ran for office in 2024.

It’s not the first time Pompeo has attacked Trump. During the 2022 midterm elections, Pompeo attributed Republican losses to Trump.  Pompeo stated “We were told we’d get tired of winning. But I’m tired of losing. And so are most Republicans,”

On Sunday, Pompeo continued his weekend-long rebuke of Trump and his ideology, as he is widely expected to announce a run for president. It followed a stark speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Friday that called out the ex-president in everything but name.

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy have entered the race, and others, such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, are considered potential contenders. Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said Sunday he would not be entering the race.

Pompeo’s words carry weight in the conservative world as he has long been considered a Trump-supporting true Conservative Republican. However, in his recent remarks regarding Trump 2024 it appears that Pompeo’s Trumpism is on shakier ground than ever before. But with Pompeo’s neocon, globalist, and elitist mentality it is clear that Americans are not willing to go back to the “more of the same” and are looking for a presidential nominee who is America First, and one who will refuse to back down to foreign aggression.

Let’s continue this conversation, in the comments below.
