President Donald Trump’s former White House Communications Director Alyssa Farrah claimed that multiple aides to the former president are ready to testify to the Department of Justice on the January 6th riots.
It was revealed this week that former President Trump is now being investigated by the Department of Justice as part of their criminal probe into the attack on the United States Capitol.
“I am aware of other White House officials who have been reached out to by DOJ and are planning to cooperate,” Farah said on CNN’s New Day. “I think you could piece it together based on who has testified before the January 6th committee.”
Some of the members of the former Trump administration who have already testified to the January 6th Select Committee publicly include former deputy communications director Sarah Matthews, Matthew Pottinger, a member of the National Security Council, and former aide to White House chief of staff Mike Pence, Cassidy Hutchinson.
Behind closed doors, however, the list is far more extensive including former cabinet members like AG Bill Barr and Trump’s on daughter and Son-in-Law, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
The DOJ has already interviewed two aides to former Vice President Mike Pence as well, signaling their focus has moved directly to the White House.
Prosecutors are currently investigating Donald Trump over 2 issues: his campaign to pressure Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 election as well as whether or not he was involved with coordinating a slate of fake electors to vote for him in states that went to Joe Biden.
Farrah herself broke with Trump in 2021 after the riots on the Capitol. She has been rumored to become the new conservative voice on “The View” following the retirement of Meghan McCain. Do you think more Trump officials will testify? Do you think Attorney General Merrick Garland would ever try to prosecute a former president regardless of what they find?
