A fraudulent Minnesota daycare center that received over one million dollars in taxpayer funding had a registered phone number that rings directly into Governor Tim Walz's office, according to a bombshell investigation that has now reached 93 million views and captured the attention of federal investigators.
The discovery came after citizen journalist Nick Shirley visited 50 daycare facilities across Minneapolis, filming empty building after empty building—morning, afternoon, and night—with zero children present. Yet records show these ghost facilities were collecting approximately $2.5 million per year each in government funding.
Direct Line to the Governor
Sweet Angel Childcare, one of the facilities under scrutiny, had its business registration phone number traced directly to Governor Walz's office. The connection has raised explosive questions about how deep the alleged fraud network extends into Minnesota's state government.
Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller has publicly called this scheme "the largest theft of taxpayer funds in United States history" and stated he believes "the state government of Minnesota is one hundred percent complicit."
"Convicted fraudsters from the Feeding Our Future scheme have direct ties to Tim Walz, Ilhan Omar, Secretary of State Steve Simon, and Senator Tina Smith," the investigation revealed.
Twelve Years of Ignored Warnings
Whistleblowers flagged $100 million in questionable spending over a decade ago. No one was fired. No one was prosecuted. When COVID hit and oversight disappeared, the fraud exploded to unprecedented levels.
The Quality Learning Center alone was investigated more than a dozen times, accumulated 95 violations, and still received over $8 million in funding. Someone inside the system was protecting these operations.

Reports indicate that after Shirley's video went viral, some of these empty daycares began trucking children in to create the appearance of legitimacy—a desperate move that only confirms the scope of the deception.
Governor Walz has responded by labeling investigators "white supremacists," and police were called on Shirley simply for asking questions.
