President Donald J. Trump has done what the Biden administration never had the courage to do: U.S. forces executed a large-scale military operation in Venezuela last night and successfully captured Nicolas Maduro, the narcoterrorist dictator responsible for flooding American streets with deadly drugs and causing thousands of American deaths.
While Democrats spent the Biden years wringing their hands and issuing worthless condemnations, President Trump took decisive ACTION — and a major drug trafficking kingpin is now in American custody.
Trump Drew a Line — Maduro Ignored It
This operation didn't come out of nowhere. President Trump gave Maduro multiple opportunities to stop the flow of illegal narcotics into the United States. The Venezuelan strongman refused at every turn.

Maduro Was No Legitimate Leader
The mainstream media won't tell Americans the truth, so here it is: Nicolas Maduro was NOT a legitimate head of state. He was an indicted narcoterrorist with DOJ charges for narco-terrorism and conspiracy to import cocaine into the United States. The man had a bounty on his head.
After the July 2024 Venezuelan presidential election, Maduro brazenly declared himself the winner despite receiving roughly 30% of the actual vote. The United States and numerous other nations refused to recognize his fraudulent claim to power.
Democrats Rush to Defend a Drug Lord
Instead of celebrating an operation that will save countless American lives, Congressional Democrats are FURIOUS that a narcoterrorist has been brought to justice.

No evidence? Tell that to the families who've buried loved ones thanks to the fentanyl and cocaine Maduro helped smuggle into American communities.

Even more disgracefully, the DNC is already fundraising off their opposition to capturing a drug lord. They're literally trying to profit from defending a narcoterrorist.
Legal experts have confirmed President Trump acted well within his constitutional authority. George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley stated plainly: "Trump does not need congressional approval for this type of operation. Presidents, including Democratic presidents, have launched lethal attacks regularly against individuals."
Freedom Prevails
While Democrats align themselves with Iran, Hezbollah, Russia, and China in condemning this operation, America's allies are celebrating. Argentina's President Javier Milei declared: "FREEDOM MOVES FORWARD. LONG LIVE FREEDOM DAMMIT!"
Most importantly, the Venezuelan people themselves are dancing in the streets and waving AMERICAN FLAGS in celebration of their liberation from Maduro's brutal socialist regime.
President Trump promised to stop drug traffickers and protect American families. Once again, he delivered. The choice for Americans couldn't be clearer: Republicans stand with the people. Democrats stand with dictators and drug lords.
