While President Trump settles into his second term with a mandate from the American people, desperate House Democrats staged what can only be described as a pathetic political theater on Tuesday - holding a special hearing to mark the fifth anniversary of January 6th, 2021.
Led by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), the same partisan hack who ran the illegitimate January 6th Committee, Democrats trotted out their tired narrative about a "bloody riot" and "attack on democracy." The timing couldn't be more transparent - they know Trump is preparing to follow through on his promise to pardon the January 6th political prisoners.
The hearing featured the usual suspects, including former Rep. Adam Kinzinger, the ultimate RINO who sold his soul to the left-wing establishment. But perhaps most telling was their decision to parade a former January 6th attendee who has apparently been broken by years of Democrat persecution.
One social media user noted the desperation: "House Democrats hold hearing on Jan 6 while Republicans continue to peddle the lie and deny its stain on our country," posted @Nanette4CA, completely missing the irony that it's the Democrats who have been peddling lies for five years.
But patriotic Americans see right through this charade. As @bobbymorris280 pointed out on social media: "Democrats rage over #Jan6 pardons, but ignore FBI plants instigating the crowd, videos of Capitol Police waving folks in like tourists, & Pelosi nixing Nat'l Guard."
The truth is finally coming out about what really happened that day - and Democrats are terrified.
For five years, we've been told to ignore the FBI informants in the crowd, the Capitol Police officers who opened doors and waved people in, and Nancy Pelosi's refusal to accept National Guard troops. We've been told to forget about the political prisoners rotting in DC jails without due process.
But President Trump hasn't forgotten. And neither have the American people who gave him a decisive victory in 2024, knowing full well he promised to right these wrongs.
The question isn't whether Democrats will continue their desperate attempts to rewrite history - they will. The question is whether patriotic Americans will let them get away with it. The answer should be a resounding no.
