An Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer was forced to use deadly force against a woman who attempted to run down federal agents with her vehicle during an immigration enforcement operation in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
The incident occurred around 9:30 AM at E 34th Street and Portland Avenue when ICE agents were conducting routine immigration enforcement activities. Video captured by eyewitnesses shows the 37-year-old woman quickly driving away from the scene when approached by officers, before allegedly using her vehicle as a deadly weapon against the agents.
But you won't hear that context from the leftist outrage machine, which is already in full spin mode. The radical group Voto Latino immediately jumped on social media to blame Trump administration policies, tweeting: "BREAKING: An ICE agent fatally shot a 37-year-old woman in Minneapolis. This is not an isolated incident—it's the result of cruelty as policy and zero accountability."
Notice how they conveniently left out the part about her allegedly trying to run over federal officers? That's the left's playbook, folks – always paint the criminal as the victim and law enforcement as the villains.
"This cannot be normalized or ignored. Congress must investigate and hold ICE and DHS accountable," Voto Latino continued in their inflammatory post.
What SHOULD be investigated is why anyone thinks it's acceptable to attack federal officers with a deadly weapon. These ICE agents are simply doing their jobs – enforcing immigration law that Congress passed and President Trump was elected to implement.
Social media user @zafarnaqvi911 claimed the woman was a U.S. citizen and "not suspect of an ICE" operation, though these details remain unverified and under investigation by authorities.
This is exactly what happens when Democrats and their media allies spend years demonizing ICE agents as "jackbooted thugs" instead of the dedicated law enforcement professionals they are. They create an atmosphere of hostility that puts both officers and civilians at risk.
President Trump's mass deportation agenda is working, but it will only succeed if we support our ICE agents and stop treating criminals who attack law enforcement as martyrs. The real tragedy here isn't federal agents defending themselves – it's a broken immigration system that the previous administration allowed to spiral out of control.
