ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST: 86-Year-Old Democrat Swamp Creature Steny Hoyer FINALLY Announces Retirement After 45 Years

The swamp is slowly draining itself, folks. Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD), the 86-year-old Democrat dinosaur who has been feeding at the Washington trough since 1981, finally announced he won't seek reelection in 2026.

Hoyer, who represents Maryland's 5th congressional district, has been a fixture of the Democrat establishment for an astounding 45 years. He's the third-longest-serving member of the House and served as the Democrats' House Majority Leader during their reign of terror under Nancy Pelosi.

The news broke Thursday, with multiple sources confirming what many Americans have been hoping for years – that these career politicians would finally step aside. As @7NewsDC reported, "Steny Hoyer, the longtime Maryland Democrat and former No. 2 leader in the U.S. House, is set to announce his retirement from Congress."

Think about this, Patriots: Hoyer first won his seat in 1981, replacing Rep. Gladys Spellman who had fallen into a coma. He's been collecting taxpayer-funded paychecks while Ronald Reagan was president, through the Clinton years, the Bush administrations, Obama's disaster, Trump's first successful term, Biden's catastrophic regime, and now into Trump's triumphant return.

"Maryland Democrat Rep. Steny Hoyer, 86, is retiring from the House after decades in Congress. He was first elected to Congress in 1981," noted @TheKaterPotater.

For over four decades, Hoyer has been a reliable vote for big government expansion, wasteful spending, and Democrat Party orthodoxy. He's watched the swamp grow around him and helped nurture it every step of the way.

But here's the silver lining: Hoyer's retirement is yet another sign that the old guard is crumbling. With Trump back in the White House and his America First agenda in full swing, these swamp creatures are scurrying for the exits rather than face the accountability that's coming.

The question now is: will Maryland voters finally elect someone who puts America first, or will they just send another Democrat puppet to Washington? With Trump's coattails and the MAGA movement gaining strength, there's real opportunity for change in the Old Line State.

I've been voting against this guy for 20 years in Maryland. He's been nothing but a rubber stamp for big government spending and liberal policies. Maybe now we can get someone who actually represents conservative values in there.

Good riddance to another swamp dweller. I wonder how many millions he's made off taxpayers during his decades in office? Time to drain that swamp one retirement at a time.

FINALLY! 45 years is way too long for anyone to be in Congress. We need fresh blood and term limits NOW!

Couldn't agree more! The founding fathers never intended for career politicians like this.
