The sanctuary city policies of Democrat-run states have delivered another devastating blow to American communities, as Lewiston, Maine finds itself embroiled in scandal over a newly elected city councilman who allegedly committed multiple crimes after arriving from Somalia.
Iman Osman, who was recently sworn in as a Lewiston city councilman, is now facing mounting calls for resignation as the council launches a probe into his residency qualifications while he simultaneously battles felony charges in court for alleged stolen property and gun offenses.
Social media erupted with outrage as details emerged about the controversy.

But perhaps most shocking is how the Somali immigrant community is reportedly responding to the scandal. According to social media reports, Somali immigrants are now pressuring Maine Democrats to circle the wagons around Osman despite his alleged crimes.
"Somali immigrant tells Maine Democrats to protect Somali fraud and defend Somali Lewiston City Councilman Iman Osman against his felony charges. Or else Somalis will cease going to the polls to vote for them,"revealed @NatCon2022, adding the hashtag #MassDeportationsNow.
Perfect Timing for Trump's Deportation Agenda
This scandal couldn't come at a more perfect time for President Trump's mass deportation initiative. Here we have yet another example of failed Democrat immigration policies putting criminals in positions of power while law-abiding Americans suffer the consequences.
How many more of these "success stories" are we going to tolerate before we admit that unchecked immigration from high-risk regions creates exactly these kinds of problems? Lewiston's voters deserve leaders who respect the law, not alleged felons who may not even legally qualify for office.
Will Maine Democrats cave to ethnic voting bloc pressure and protect an alleged criminal? Or will they finally put American citizens first?
