SHAMEFUL: Minnesota Lt. Gov Says Laken Riley Act Will 'TERRORIZE' Communities - Defends Criminal Illegals Over Dead American Girl

Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan has reached a new low in leftist depravity, condemning the Laken Riley Act as giving President Trump "the green light to terrorize our communities." The legislation, named after a 22-year-old nursing student brutally murdered by an illegal alien, would require the detention of illegal immigrants charged with theft-related crimes.

Let that sink in, Patriots. A Democrat politician is literally defending criminal illegal aliens over the memory of an innocent American girl who was killed by someone who should never have been in our country in the first place.

The Laken Riley Act is common-sense legislation that would prevent dangerous criminals from being released back onto our streets. But to radical Democrats like Flanagan, protecting Americans from violent criminals is apparently "terrorism."

Social media users quickly called out the hypocrisy. One Twitter user noted: "Democrats once again proving they are for criminals before citizens. Minnesota Lt. Gov Flanagan denounces the Laken Riley Act as a tool to demoralize the communities. Proving the Democrats are not supporting safety and prosperity of Americans."

The timing of Flanagan's outrageous comments couldn't be more ironic. Minnesota is currently facing federal investigations into massive fraud involving Somali migrants and taxpayer funds. Yet instead of addressing the criminal activity happening in her own backyard, Flanagan chooses to attack legislation that would protect American citizens.

Dangerous Democrat Rhetoric Exposed

This isn't Flanagan's first rodeal with inflammatory language. Critics have pointed out how Democratic rhetoric, including Flanagan urging people to "put your bodies on the line" and Governor Tim Walz labeling law enforcement as "Gestapo," radicalizes people and leads to dangerous situations.

The Laken Riley Act represents everything President Trump's second term stands for: putting America First and protecting our citizens from the chaos created by Biden's open border policies. The fact that Democrats are fighting tooth and nail against basic public safety measures shows exactly where their priorities lie - and it's not with the American people.

How can any elected official look at what happened to Laken Riley and decide the real problem is enforcing our immigration laws? The answer is simple: they can't, unless they care more about protecting criminal illegal aliens than protecting innocent Americans.

The only thing 'terrorizing' communities is letting violent criminals roam free instead of deporting them immediately. When will these politicians wake up?

Never, unfortunately. They're too busy pandering to the radical left base.

Absolutely disgraceful! How can any elected official prioritize protecting criminal illegals over the safety of American citizens like poor Laken Riley?

It's because they care more about virtue signaling than protecting the people who elected them.

My son served overseas to protect this country, and now we have officials protecting foreign criminals over American victims. This is exactly why we need the Laken Riley Act.

What exactly does the Lt. Governor think will happen if we don't enforce immigration laws? More tragedies like Laken Riley's death!

As someone who lives in Minnesota, I'm embarrassed by our Lt. Governor's stance. We need leaders who put Americans first, not criminals who shouldn't even be here.
