While the Trump Administration honors the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect American communities, radical Democrats have been waging an all-out war against our law enforcement heroes — and the receipts are absolutely damning.
On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, the White House released a comprehensive list documenting 57 separate instances where Democrat politicians — from governors to senators to city council members — have viciously attacked Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers with inflammatory rhetoric that would make any reasonable American's blood boil.
And here's the kicker: this isn't just political theater. This dangerous rhetoric has real consequences. According to the Department of Homeland Security, vehicular attacks against ICE agents have exploded by a staggering 1,300% since President Trump took office, with a 58% spike against CBP officers in the same period.
The Democrat Hall of Shame
The list reads like a who's who of the radical left's most unhinged voices. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz — yes, the same man who let Minneapolis burn during the 2020 riots — called ICE the "modern-day Gestapo" and claimed his state is at "war" with federal officers. California's Gavin Newsom labeled our immigration enforcement officers "secret police" and called for people to "push back."
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker took the Nazi comparisons even further, claiming ICE is turning the country into "Nazi Germany." Let that sink in, Patriots. Elected officials comparing American law enforcement to history's greatest monsters.
The Squad, predictably, led the charge in Congress. Rep. Ilhan Omar called ICE "state violence" and declared that "abolishing ICE is not enough." Rep. Pramila Jayapal accused officers of "kidnapping" and warned constituents that ICE officers will "shoot at you and kill you." Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called ICE an "anti-civilian force" that "should not exist."
Inciting Violence From the Halls of Power
Perhaps most disturbing is how Democrat politicians have actively encouraged confrontation with federal officers. Rep. LaMonica McIver incited people to "shut down the city" because "we are at war." Rep. Jan Schakowsky urged people to "fight back" against ICE. And in one of the most egregious examples, Cudahy, California Vice Mayor Cynthia Gonzalez allegedly implored violent gangs — the 18th Street and Florencia 13 — to "help out and organize" against ICE, triggering an FBI probe.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey told ICE to "get the fuck out" of his city. Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson called officers "secret police" running a "lawless, racist force." New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani declared that ICE enforcement "is an attack on us all."
Words Have Consequences
When sitting governors compare federal law enforcement to Nazi stormtroopers, when senators call ICE a "clear and present threat" and a "reign of terror," when congresswomen describe immigration enforcement as "terrorist attacks" — violence follows. The 1,300% increase in vehicular attacks isn't a coincidence. It's a direct result of years of Democrat demonization.
These aren't just policy disagreements. This is a coordinated campaign to delegitimize the men and women who enforce our nation's immigration laws — laws that exist to protect American citizens and legal immigrants alike.
The Trump Administration stands firmly with ICE and all law enforcement. While Democrats play political games with the safety of our communities, President Trump is delivering on his promise to secure our borders and enforce the rule of law.
The question every American should be asking: Why do Democrats hate the people who protect us? And what does it say about their vision for America when they'd rather side with violent gangs than with the officers keeping our families safe?
