EXPOSED: Blue State AGs Launch DESPERATE Lawsuit After Trump Freezes $10 BILLION in Wasteful Spending

Just days into his second term, President Trump has already triggered a meltdown among Democratic attorneys general who are scrambling to protect their wasteful spending habits. California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced Thursday that five blue states are suing the Trump administration over its decision to freeze $10 billion in federal funding pending investigations into alleged waste and fraud.

The lawsuit, filed jointly by California, New York, Minnesota, Illinois, and Colorado, comes after the Trump administration moved swiftly to halt funding streams that have been plagued by mismanagement under the previous Biden regime. Half of the frozen funds - a staggering $5 billion - was earmarked for California alone, raising serious questions about how Gavin Newsom's failing state has been burning through taxpayer dollars.

Bonta's reaction was predictably hysterical, calling the administration's fiscally responsible decision "baseless and cruel." But patriots know better - this is exactly the kind of government accountability Americans voted for when they returned Trump to the White House.

"NEW: California AG Rob Bonta announces he's suing Trump Administration over frozen childcare/family assistance funds. Alleging waste & fraud, Trump froze $10 Billion from Democratic states, half of the $$ was for California. 'This is Trump with no basis, no facts,' he said," reported journalist Adrian Zavala on social media.

The Democratic attorneys general are crying "unconstitutional abuse of power," but where was their outrage when the Biden administration weaponized federal agencies against parents at school board meetings? Where were the lawsuits when the DOJ targeted Trump supporters?

Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul joined the chorus of complaints, with CBS Chicago reporting that the five states called Trump's move an "unconstitutional abuse of power." Yet these same officials cheered when Biden used federal power to push radical gender ideology and climate extremism.

This lawsuit exposes the left's true priority: protecting their slush funds rather than ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly. Trump campaigned on draining the swamp and eliminating government waste - and he's delivering on that promise faster than his critics can file lawsuits.

Will these blue state lawyers succeed in forcing hardworking Americans to continue funding their failed programs, or will Trump's accountability agenda prevail?

Love this move! Does anyone know if this freeze includes the climate change slush funds too?

As someone who works in government contracting, I can tell you there's SO much waste it's not even funny. Good for Trump for actually doing something about it instead of just talking.

Can you give us some examples of what you've seen? I'd love to know more about the waste.

My state has been managing our budget responsibly for years while these blue states keep asking for federal bailouts. Now they're crying because the free money stopped flowing?
