The mask is officially off. Texas Democrat Rep. Julie Johnson has thrown her support behind efforts to gut Department of Homeland Security funding following an ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis – proving once again that Democrats would rather protect criminal aliens than American citizens.
Johnson's shocking stance comes as President Trump's mass deportation agenda kicks into high gear, with ICE agents finally being allowed to do the job they were hired to do after four years of Biden administration sabotage.
But instead of celebrating the enforcement of our immigration laws, Johnson and her radical colleagues are now looking to handicap the very agencies protecting our communities from illegal alien criminals.
"Over-Night the Somalians & Politicians & Bureaucrats become multi-millionaires. Driving Mercedes-Benz, TESLA, BMW - I drive lousy, 150,000 miles Hyundai," one frustrated American posted on social media, highlighting the absurd priorities of our political class.
This is the same Minnesota that gave us Tim Walz and Keith Ellison – a state that has rolled out the red carpet for Somali immigrants while working-class Americans struggle to make ends meet. Now they want to punish ICE for doing what should have been done years ago.
The timing couldn't be more telling. As Trump's deportation machine ramps up and Secretary Kristi Noem takes charge at DHS, desperate Democrats are scrambling to protect their sanctuary state agenda by any means necessary – even if it means defunding the agencies keeping Americans safe.
Social media is buzzing with Americans demanding answers about why politicians and bureaucrats seem to live better than the taxpayers funding their salaries, with posts calling out everyone from Donald Trump and JD Vance to Elon Musk and congressional leadership to take action on this travesty.
Stephen A. Smith notably backed ICE in the shooting, showing that even some mainstream voices recognize the necessity of immigration enforcement – but Johnson apparently didn't get the memo.
Patriots, this is exactly why we voted for Trump's America First agenda. While Democrats like Johnson want to tie the hands of our border agents, President Trump is delivering on his promise to secure our nation and remove those who have no right to be here.
The question now is whether Republicans in Congress will let these radical Democrats sabotage our immigration enforcement – or if they'll stand with the American people who demanded action on November 5th.
