New York City's radical new mayor Zohran Mamdani is facing a firestorm of criticism for his deafening silence after pro-Hamas protesters terrorized worshippers outside a Queens synagogue, chanting support for the terrorist organization that butchered over 1,000 innocent Israelis on October 7th.

Video footage from Thursday night shows masked agitators waving Palestinian flags and screaming "Say it loud, say it clear - we support Hamas here!" outside the Jewish house of worship, creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation that should disgust every American who believes in religious freedom.

But don't expect any condemnation from Mayor Mamdani - this is exactly what he wanted when he repealed the executive order that made disrupting religious institutions illegal. As one outraged New Yorker posted on social media: "This is exactly what that pos Mamdani wants to happen. He repealed an EO that previously made disruption of a religious institution illegal."

The protest was reportedly promoted by groups linked to Mamdani's political network, including the Muslim American Society of New York. Social media users are calling out the connection, with Right Minds Media posting: "Pro-Hamas Chants Erupt Outside NYC Synagogue at Rally Promoted by Mamdani-Linked Group - Take your BS back to the Middle East! We don't want it here!"

While other New York lawmakers from both parties have issued condemnations of this blatant antisemitic intimidation, Mamdani remains conspicuously silent. The Algemeiner reported that "Mamdani Remains Silent on Pro-Hamas Synagogue Protest, Other NYC Lawmakers Issue Condemnations."

This is the new reality under Mamdani's radical leadership - Jewish New Yorkers are being terrorized in their own neighborhoods while their mayor turns a blind eye. The same extremist who campaigned on "Palestine solidarity" is now showing his true colors by enabling Hamas supporters to intimidate American Jews.

New Yorkers didn't vote for imported Middle Eastern conflicts to terrorize their streets. They deserve a mayor who protects ALL residents, not one who gives a green light to antisemitic mobs. How long will Jewish families have to live in fear under this radical's reign?

Disgusting behavior that has no place in America.

Unacceptable! If this was any other religious group being targeted, there would be wall-to-wall coverage and immediate action.

This is exactly what we warned would happen when NYC elected Adams. Where's the leadership when Jewish Americans need protection?

Adams talks a big game but when it comes to action, he's nowhere to be found. Disappointing but not surprising.

Adams promised to be tough on crime and protect all New Yorkers. Where is that leadership now when we need it most?

I live three blocks from that synagogue and heard the commotion. Police response was delayed and inadequate - this can't continue happening in our neighborhoods.

Stay safe out there. It's getting worse by the day in the city.

The double standard is obvious to anyone paying attention. Selective enforcement based on political convenience is destroying this city.

What specific steps is the NYPD taking to protect religious institutions? We need answers and accountability, not silence.

My Jewish neighbors are scared to walk to temple now. This administration's weakness is emboldening these extremists and putting innocent people at risk.

Same situation in my area. We've started organizing neighborhood watch groups because we can't rely on city leadership.
