In a stunning display of anti-law enforcement bias, Oregon Democrat Rep. Janelle Bynum appeared on CNN Thursday night to condemn Border Patrol agents as "terrorists" while admitting she doesn't even know the basic details of a Portland shooting incident involving suspected violent gang members.
Bynum's reckless comments came after Border Patrol agents shot two suspected members of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua during what reports indicate was a targeted operation where the suspects allegedly tried to run down federal agents with a vehicle.
But facts didn't matter to the radical Democrat congresswoman. Despite acknowledging her ignorance about what actually happened, Bynum told CNN viewers that "we know that their presence is not welcome" and accused the agents of engaging in "terrorism."
Think about that for a moment, Patriots. Federal agents risking their lives to take dangerous gang members off our streets are being labeled as terrorists by an elected official who can't even be bothered to learn what happened before rushing to judgment.
Social media users quickly called out Bynum's outrageous stance. As one Twitter user pointed out: "Nobody cares that they're not welcome. Being welcome is not a requirement." That's exactly right – Border Patrol agents don't need permission from Portland liberals to enforce federal immigration law.
Journalist Andy Ngo highlighted the absurdity, noting that Bynum "has released a statement condemning the Border Patrol shooting of two suspected violent criminal Tren de Aragua members who allegedly tried to run down agents during a targeted stop."
Another social media post revealed that Bynum's statement to federal agents was even more inflammatory, reportedly saying "Don't f*** with us" in response to the incident.
This is exactly the kind of anti-law enforcement extremism that Trump's return to power is designed to combat. While Border Patrol agents put their lives on the line to protect Americans from violent gang members, radical Democrats like Bynum are more concerned with protecting criminals than the safety of law-abiding citizens.
