REVEALED: Tren de Aragua Gang Members Shot After Trying to RUN OVER Border Patrol Agents in Sanctuary Portland

Two illegal immigrants with ties to the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua were shot by U.S. Border Patrol agents in Portland on Thursday after allegedly attempting to run over federal officers during a traffic stop, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

While any rational person would celebrate Border Patrol agents defending themselves against foreign gang members, Oregon's sanctuary state Democrats have predictably condemned the shooting as "reckless" - apparently more concerned about criminals than the safety of our federal law enforcement officers.

The Wall Street Journal confirmed the gang connections, reporting that "The two people shot by U.S. Border Patrol agents during a traffic stop in Portland were illegal immigrants linked to a notorious Venezuelan gang, according to the Department of Homeland Security."

This incident perfectly illustrates the deadly consequences of sanctuary policies that protect foreign criminals at the expense of American safety. Tren de Aragua has been terrorizing American communities from New York to Colorado, and now they're literally trying to murder federal agents in the streets of Portland.

"Illegal immigrants are foreign invaders. Aiding an enemy force is treason," posted one social media user, capturing the frustration of Americans watching Democrats defend gang members over law enforcement.

The timing couldn't be more perfect for President Trump's mass deportation agenda. As one outlet noted, this shooting occurred "amid Trump's crackdown on immigrants" - though let's be clear, this is a crackdown on ILLEGAL immigrants and foreign gang members, not law-abiding people seeking the American dream legally.

The Trump administration has reportedly shared the rap sheets of these individuals, likely revealing a pattern of criminal behavior that sanctuary policies allowed to continue unchecked. How many more Americans have to suffer before Democrats admit their policies are putting lives at risk?

Patriots across America are asking the tough question: If you're more outraged by Border Patrol agents defending themselves than by foreign gang members trying to kill them, whose side are you really on?

Why is Portland even a sanctuary city when stuff like this keeps happening? Our agents shouldn't have to deal with gangs trying to run them over just for doing their jobs.

I live in a border town and see this stuff firsthand. The Tren de Aragua gang has been causing problems for months now. When will sanctuary cities wake up and realize they're endangering everyone?

Stay safe out there. It's frustrating that people in safe neighborhoods make policies that affect border communities like yours.

These Border Patrol agents are heroes and I'm glad they're safe! This is exactly why we need to secure our borders instead of creating these sanctuary policies that put our law enforcement at risk.

100% agree. These agents put their lives on the line every day while politicians play games with our safety.

Play with fire, get burned. Actions have consequences and these gang members found out the hard way.
