Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is already making excuses for those who interfere with President Trump's immigration enforcement operations, defending a woman shot by ICE officers during what appears to be resistance to lawful deportation activities.

Speaking on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday, the Democrat mayor claimed that "anybody" who watched video of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers shooting Renee Good could see she was "not a domestic terrorist." But here's what Frey conveniently left out: what exactly was Good doing that led to this confrontation with federal agents?

Trump's Deportation Promise in Action

This incident comes as President Trump delivers on his campaign promise of mass deportations, with ICE agents across the country working to remove illegal immigrants who have flouted our laws for years. The Trump-Vance administration has made it crystal clear that interference with these operations will not be tolerated.

Yet Democrat mayors like Frey seem determined to provide cover for anyone who gets in the way of enforcing immigration law. Instead of supporting our brave ICE agents who are finally doing their jobs after four years of the Biden administration's open borders disaster, Frey rushes to CNN to play defense for someone who apparently thought she could interfere with federal law enforcement.

"Anybody who watched the video of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shooting Renee Good can see she was 'not a domestic terrorist,'" Frey told CNN, conveniently ignoring what led to the confrontation.

The Real Question Patriots Should Ask

Here's what every American should be asking: Why was Renee Good in a position to be shot by ICE officers in the first place? Were federal agents conducting a lawful operation to remove criminal illegal aliens when Good decided to interfere?

The mainstream media and Democrat politicians like Frey want to focus on everything except the simple fact that ICE agents have a job to do - a job that was impossible under Biden but is now getting full support from President Trump.

As Trump's deportation operations ramp up nationwide, expect more Democrats to cry about "excessive force" while completely ignoring the law-breaking that led to these confrontations. The question is: will Americans stand with our ICE agents, or will we let Democrat mayors provide cover for those who obstruct immigration enforcement?

This is exactly why we need to drain the swamp at every level of government. These sanctuary city mayors are complicit in breaking federal law.

I served this country for 20 years and it breaks my heart to see mayors putting illegals before American citizens. Thank God we have a president who will actually enforce the law.

I live in Minneapolis and I'm so tired of our mayor's policies. Crime is through the roof and now he's defending people who shouldn't even be here legally. When will this madness end?

Finally! Someone is actually enforcing our immigration laws again. Why is this mayor defending criminals instead of protecting law-abiding citizens?

Because Democrats care more about votes than they do about Americans.

Does anyone know if ICE operations are planned for other sanctuary cities? My city needs this desperately - our local government refuses to cooperate with federal authorities.

I heard they're targeting Chicago and LA next but not sure if that's confirmed.

The mayor should be investigated for obstruction of justice. How is it legal for local officials to interfere with federal law enforcement operations?
