In a rare moment of clarity, New York's most prominent Democrats were forced to condemn disgusting pro-Hamas chants that erupted during a protest in a Jewish neighborhood in Queens - but patriots are asking why it took this long for these same politicians to speak up.
Governor Kathy Hochul, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Queens Mayor Shekar Samdani finally found their voices after protesters brazenly chanted "we support Hamas" in broad daylight, terrorizing Jewish families in their own communities.
"Disgusting and antisemitic," Hochul called the chants, while AOC suddenly discovered that supporting designated terrorist organizations might be problematic. How convenient.
Too Little, Too Late From the Squad
But here's what really grinds Patriots' gears: where was this moral clarity when these same Democrats were legitimizing anti-Israel sentiment for years? AOC and her radical squad have spent countless hours demonizing Israel while giving a free pass to Hamas sympathizers.
Now that the mask has completely slipped off the anti-Israel movement - with supporters literally chanting support for terrorists who murder innocent civilians - these politicians are scrambling to save face.
"When protesters are openly supporting Hamas in Jewish neighborhoods, even the most radical Democrats know they've lost the American people," one local Jewish community leader told reporters.
This is what happens when you normalize anti-Israel hatred for political points with your far-left base. Eventually, the extremists you've been courting say the quiet part out loud, and suddenly you're stuck defending the indefensible.
Where's the Follow-Up Action?
But condemning these chants isn't enough, folks. What are these Democrats actually going to DO about the rising antisemitism they've helped foster? Will they finally admit that their years of Israel-bashing created this toxic environment?
Jewish Americans deserve better than empty words from politicians who only speak up when the cameras are rolling. They deserve leaders who will consistently stand against antisemitism - not politicians who fan the flames and then act surprised when extremists feel emboldened to support terrorist organizations in Jewish neighborhoods.
The question is: will New York voters remember this moment of truth when these same Democrats come asking for their support?
