Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro just showed his true colors – and they're not red, white, and blue. The radical Democrat governor launched a vicious attack on Vice President JD Vance for doing something that should be automatic: defending an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer who was doing his job protecting Americans.
At a White House press briefing Thursday, VP Vance stood firmly behind the ICE agent involved in a Minneapolis shooting incident. But apparently, supporting law enforcement officers who risk their lives to enforce our immigration laws is too much for Governor Shapiro to stomach.
Shapiro claimed Vance's defense of the ICE officer makes communities "less safe" and called the Vice President "absolutely wrong." Let that sink in, patriots. A sitting governor thinks supporting ICE agents makes us LESS safe. What planet is this guy living on?
Democrats Show Their True Priorities
This is the same backwards thinking that got us into the immigration crisis in the first place. For four years under Biden, we watched as Democrats demonized ICE agents, defunded border security, and rolled out the red carpet for illegal aliens flooding across our southern border.
Now that President Trump is back in office and serious about mass deportations, suddenly Democrats like Shapiro are concerned about "safety." Where was this concern when fentanyl was pouring across the border? Where was this concern when criminal aliens were being released into American communities?
"The hypocrisy is staggering. Shapiro and his fellow Democrats spent years attacking ICE agents and now have the audacity to lecture us about public safety."
Vice President Vance did exactly what Americans elected him to do – stand up for the men and women in law enforcement who are finally being allowed to do their jobs again. These ICE agents are putting their lives on the line to remove dangerous criminals and immigration violators from our communities.
America First Means Law Enforcement First
Governor Shapiro's attack reveals the fundamental difference between the Trump-Vance administration and the radical left. We believe in backing our law enforcement officers and securing our borders. They believe in protecting illegal aliens and attacking anyone who enforces our laws.
The choice couldn't be clearer, folks. Do we stand with American law enforcement, or do we side with politicians who think enforcing immigration law makes us "less safe"? President Trump and VP Vance have made their choice – and so should every patriotic American.
