In a pathetic display of liberal virtue signaling, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey rushed to CNN's cameras Sunday to defend a woman shot by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, desperately claiming Renee Good was "not a domestic terrorist" despite the circumstances that led to the deadly encounter.
Speaking on CNN's "State of the Union" - because of course he went straight to the fake news media - Frey insisted that "anybody" who watched the video could see Good wasn't a threat. But here's what the Democrat mayor conveniently left out: what exactly was Good doing that resulted in ICE agents having to use lethal force?
This is exactly the kind of anti-law enforcement rhetoric we've come to expect from failed Democrat mayors who have turned their cities into sanctuaries for criminals while hardworking Americans suffer the consequences. Frey's Minneapolis has been a disaster zone of crime and chaos, and now he's attacking the very federal agents trying to clean up his mess.
Trump's ICE Under Attack
Make no mistake - this is a coordinated assault on President Trump's mass deportation agenda. The mainstream media and their Democrat allies are desperately searching for any incident they can twist into anti-Trump propaganda, even if it means defending those who resist federal immigration enforcement.
"Anybody who watched the video of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shooting Renee Good can see she was 'not a domestic terrorist,'" Frey told CNN's biased hosts, playing right into their narrative.
But where was Mayor Frey's concern for law and order when his city was burning during the 2020 riots? Where was his defense of police officers when they were being attacked by actual domestic terrorists?
The American people voted overwhelmingly for Trump's immigration agenda, including mass deportations of those here illegally. Democrats like Frey can cry about it all they want, but ICE agents have a job to do - protecting our communities from those who have no right to be here.
How long will patriots have to watch Democrat mayors obstruct federal law enforcement while lecturing us about who the real threats are?
