POWER GRAB: New York Schemes to Control 2028 Presidential Primary as Democrats Plot Trump Sabotage

New York Democrats aren't even giving President Trump a chance to settle into his second term before they start plotting their next power grab. Empire State Senator James Skoufis is pushing legislation to move New York's presidential primary to Super Tuesday during the 2028 election cycle, hoping to leverage the state's massive delegate count to influence the next Republican nominee.

The timing couldn't be more transparent. Just two weeks into Trump's historic second presidency, New York's political establishment is already working overtime to ensure they have maximum influence over who challenges the MAGA movement in 2028. This isn't about democracy, folks – it's about control.

New York's primary currently takes place in April, well after many crucial early states have already shaped the narrative. By moving to Super Tuesday in early March, the Empire State would join the largest single day of primary voting, giving its liberal politicians and media elites maximum leverage over the selection process.

The Real Game Plan

Make no mistake – this isn't some innocent reform effort. New York's Democrat machine knows that early primary states like Iowa and New Hampshire don't reflect their coastal elite values. They want to dilute the influence of heartland Americans who actually understand what makes this country great.

The state's 320 delegates make it the fourth-largest prize in the Democratic primary process. But here's what Skoufis and his allies don't want to admit: their influence-peddling scheme might backfire spectacularly if Trump decides to run for a third term or if another America First candidate captures the MAGA base.

"New York wants to be relevant again in presidential politics," one unnamed source told Fox News. Translation: they want to stop candidates who put America First.

This power grab exposes everything wrong with our current primary system. Instead of letting Iowa farmers and New Hampshire patriots have their traditional first say, coastal elites want to front-load the process with their big-money, big-government influence.

Will patriotic Americans stand by and let New York's political machine manipulate our sacred electoral process, or is it time to defend the traditional primary calendar that gives real Americans a voice?

This is exactly what we've been warning about for years - the establishment Democrats will do ANYTHING to maintain power. New York is just the beginning, watch them try this in California and Illinois next.

100% agree Mike. They can't win on policy so they have to rig the system.

Absolutely disgusting but not surprising. The Democratic Party has abandoned any pretense of playing by the rules - they did it to Bernie in 2016 and now they're doing it to prepare for whoever our nominee will be in 2028.

The swamp is already preparing for 2028 because they know Trump is going to win in 2024! This just proves how desperate they are.

Can someone explain how they're legally allowed to just change the primary rules like this? Seems like there should be some federal oversight when it comes to presidential elections.

I lived in New York for 15 years before moving to Florida. The corruption there runs so deep, this doesn't surprise me one bit. They've been manipulating elections at every level for decades.

Smart move getting out of there! Florida is much better for freedom-loving Americans.
