President Trump's Justice Department delivered a powerful message to Deep State holdovers Monday by firing Robert McBride, the No. 2 official in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, after he refused to prosecute corrupt former FBI Director James Comey.

McBride's ouster represents the latest victory in Trump's mission to clean house at the Department of Justice and hold accountable the swamp creatures who orchestrated the Russia hoax and weaponized federal law enforcement against conservatives.

The firing came after McBride declined to lead the prosecution of Comey, the disgraced former FBI chief who leaked classified memos and led the corrupt investigation into President Trump. Under Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan, the Eastern District of Virginia is finally pursuing real justice instead of protecting Deep State operatives.

Left Melts Down Over Accountability

Predictably, liberal activists on social media had a complete meltdown over the firing. One unhinged user posted: "Trump's corrupt Justice Department has fired the federal prosecutor, Robert McBride, who refused to lead the attempt to re-indict former FBI director James Comey. Fake Blondi works for Trump, not for justice."

Another leftist critic whined that "Trump's DOJ is continuing to fire people who refuse to" follow through on prosecuting corrupt officials - as if that's somehow a bad thing!

"BREAKING: Trump's DOJ has just FIRED the No. 2 official in the department's Eastern District of Virginia, Robert McBridge, after he declined to lead the prosecution of former FBI Director James Comey," posted another outraged liberal on social media.

Draining the Swamp

What these Deep State defenders don't understand is that the American people voted for accountability. We're tired of a two-tiered justice system where corrupt FBI directors who leak classified information walk free while patriots get persecuted for standing up for election integrity.

Halligan, Trump's former personal defense attorney, knows exactly how weaponized the DOJ became under the Biden regime. Now she's in position to deliver the justice that corrupt officials like Comey have avoided for far too long.

This firing sends a clear message: if you're not willing to uphold the rule of law equally, regardless of political affiliation, then you have no place in Trump's Justice Department. The swamp is being drained, one corrupt official at a time.

Finally! It's about time someone cleaned house at the DOJ. These deep state operatives have been protecting their own for way too long.

Couldn't agree more. The two-tiered justice system needs to end.

This reminds me of when I worked in government and saw how these bureaucrats protect each other. It's like a club where accountability doesn't exist. Trump is doing what needed to be done years ago.

Same experience here in my state government job. The corruption runs deep at every level.

Good riddance to another swamp creature! Does anyone know if this prosecutor had connections to the Mueller investigation too?
