EXPOSED: Democrats Cry 'CRISIS' Over Obamacare Handouts While They Let Child Tax Credits DIE

Here we go again, Patriots. The same Democrats who couldn't be bothered to extend expanded child tax credits that actually helped working families are now throwing a full-blown tantrum because Obamacare premium subsidies are set to expire under President Trump's administration.

The hypocrisy is so thick you could cut it with a knife. When those enhanced child tax credits—worth up to $3,600 per child—quietly expired in 2022 under Biden's watch, where were the screaming headlines about a "crisis"? Where were the emergency sessions of Congress? Crickets.

But now that Obamacare premium tax credits are on the chopping block, suddenly it's the end of the world. Representative Tom Suozzi took to Twitter to celebrate what he calls a "major bipartisan victory" when 17 Republicans joined House Democrats to extend these healthcare handouts, writing: "Congress achieved a major bipartisan victory last week when 17 Republicans joined House Democrats to extend healthcare premium tax credits."

"This deal will ensure premiums don't skyrocket in the short term, giving Americans some immediate relief," Suozzi continued in his social media post.

Notice the language here, folks. When it's their pet project, it's about "immediate relief" and preventing things from "skyrocketing." But when working parents lost thousands in tax credits that put real money back in their pockets? Radio silence from these same Democrats.

The Real Crisis They Ignored

Let's talk about what actually constituted a crisis. Those expanded child tax credits provided direct cash payments to families struggling with inflation, rising costs, and economic uncertainty. We're talking about money that went straight to groceries, rent, and keeping the lights on.

But apparently, subsidizing insurance companies through Obamacare premium credits is more important to Democrats than helping parents feed their kids. The priorities couldn't be clearer.

This is exactly the kind of swamp behavior that President Trump was elected to drain. Democrats pick and choose which spending programs deserve "crisis" status based purely on political convenience, not what actually helps everyday Americans.

Why is it only a national emergency when their signature healthcare boondoggle faces the budget axe? Because this isn't about helping people—it's about protecting their political legacy, even if it means throwing working families under the bus.

Democrats always pick winners and losers instead of letting the free market work.

Wait, can someone explain how much the child tax credits were worth compared to these Obamacare subsidies? I want to share this but need the numbers.

Child tax credit was up to $3,600 per kid under 6, $3,000 for older kids. Way more impact for families than ACA subsidies.

As a father of three, those child tax credits made a real difference in our budget. Now we're struggling more while they throw money at failing government programs. Makes me sick.

This is so typical of the left - manufactured crises while ignoring real family issues. My wife and I really felt it when those credits ended.

Finally someone is calling out their hypocrisy! They scream about healthcare subsidies for adults but let tax relief for families with children expire. Shows you where their priorities really are.

Exactly right. They care more about their pet projects than working families.
