New York Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman is in full panic mode, warning that the Trump administration's Department of Justice criminal investigation into Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell could devastate the American economy.
Speaking Monday on MSNBC's "Deadline," Goldman desperately claimed that prosecuting Powell "will tank our economy" - apparently forgetting that it was Powell's disastrous policies under Biden that helped fuel record inflation and crushed working families across America.
The investigation reportedly centers around a staggering $2.5 billion Federal Reserve headquarters renovation and potential perjury charges - but Goldman and his Democrat allies want Powell to remain untouchable because he's "too big to fail."
Americans on social media aren't buying Goldman's fear-mongering. One patriot fired back at the New York Democrat:
"I am sick of the corruption of 'too big to fail' or in this case, it's best to let him get away! NO! Let the chips fall where they may, period. You effeminate low-T prick!"
Meanwhile, market analysts are calling Goldman's claims overblown noise. One financial observer noted:
"Bitcoin blasting past $92,500 feels electric, but the DOJ probe rumor around Powell (the $2.5B HQ renovation + perjury angle) is classic short-term noise amplifying market euphoria. Zooming out, the macro picture stays firm."
This is classic Democrat playbook - claim investigating corruption will somehow hurt Americans more than the corruption itself. For years, we've watched federal bureaucrats operate with impunity while families struggled under their failed policies.
President Trump's promise to drain the swamp clearly has the establishment terrified. No one should be above the law - not even Federal Reserve chairmen who spend billions of taxpayer dollars on luxury headquarters while Americans can barely afford groceries.
Goldman's hysteria only proves that Trump's DOJ is asking the right questions. If Powell has nothing to hide, let the investigation proceed. The American people deserve accountability from ALL government officials.
