Wisconsin's Democrat Governor Tony Evers is trying to pull a fast one on hardworking taxpayers with a so-called "tax relief" plan that doesn't even come close to covering the massive property tax increases his own reckless spending has caused.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany didn't mince words when he exposed Evers' $1.3 billion tax relief proposal as nothing more than political smoke and mirrors. "It's a Band-Aid," Tiffany declared, pointing out that the governor's 400-year school funding scheme has already crushed Wisconsin families with skyrocketing property taxes.

This is classic Democrat playbook politics, folks. Create a problem with massive government spending and tax hikes, then ride to the rescue with a "solution" that doesn't even fix what you broke in the first place. Meanwhile, Wisconsin families are left holding the bag.

"Evers' $1.3 billion in tax relief is not enough to cover the costs of the property tax increases his 400-year school funding order caused," Tiffany explained.

The reaction from Wisconsin Republicans was swift and unanimous - they're not buying Evers' election-year gimmick. And why should they? This is the same governor who has consistently prioritized big government spending over the taxpayers who fund it.

Democrats' Tax-and-Spend Addiction Hurts Families

While President Trump's second-term agenda focuses on cutting government waste and putting America First, Democrat governors like Evers continue the failed policies of the past. His massive spending increases have forced property taxes through the roof, making it harder for Wisconsin families to afford their homes.

Now Evers wants credit for offering relief that doesn't even cover the damage he's already done? That's like an arsonist asking for praise for calling the fire department.

Wisconsin Patriots deserve better than this political theater. They deserve leaders who will actually cut spending, reduce the size of government, and let families keep more of their hard-earned money - not politicians who create problems just so they can pretend to solve them later.

How long will Wisconsin voters tolerate Democrats who treat their wallets like personal ATMs?

I've been tracking my property taxes since he took office - they've gone up 18% in my county alone. Now he wants credit for this tiny 'relief' that doesn't even cover half of what he's cost us?

This is exactly why we need term limits and accountability in state government. These career politicians think they can play games with our hard-earned money and we won't notice.

Typical Democrat bait and switch! They raise taxes through the roof then throw us crumbs and call it 'relief.' We're not fooled by this nonsense.

Exactly! It's like stealing $100 from you then giving back $20 and expecting a thank you card.

Does anyone know the actual numbers on how much his tax hikes totaled versus this so-called relief package? Would love to see the real math.

From what I calculated, the hikes were about $2.3 billion over two years while this 'relief' is maybe $400 million. It's insulting.

This hits home for me - my business has been crushed by his tax policies and now I'm supposed to be grateful for these table scraps?
