SHOCKING: Dem Senator Says Forced Abortions Are 'Part Of History' While Defending Mail-Order Abortion Pills

Democrat Senator Maggie Hassan showed her true colors Wednesday when she callously dismissed the horrors of forced abortions while defending dangerous mail-order abortion pills during a Senate Health Committee hearing.

The New Hampshire Democrat accused Republican senators of "gaslighting" Americans about the very real dangers of mifepristone being delivered by mail – completely ignoring how this system makes it easier for abusers to force abortions on their victims.

But Hassan's most disturbing moment came when she brushed off GOP concerns about violence against pregnant women, claiming it's simply a "longstanding part of human history." Apparently, in Hassan's twisted worldview, because abuse has happened before, we should just accept it and make it easier for predators to access abortion drugs.

Making Excuses for Abusers

This is exactly the kind of radical pro-abortion extremism that Americans rejected in November. While Republicans are fighting to protect vulnerable women from coercive abortions, Democrats like Hassan are more concerned with protecting Big Abortion's profits than actual women.

The GOP senators Hassan attacked were raising legitimate concerns about how mail-order mifepristone removes crucial safeguards. When abortion pills can be ordered online and delivered to anyone's doorstep, it becomes a weapon for abusive partners, sex traffickers, and others who want to eliminate evidence of their crimes.

"Violence against pregnant women is a longstanding part of human history," Hassan callously stated, as if that justifies making the problem worse.

This is the same party that claims to care about women's safety while simultaneously removing every protection that might actually keep them safe from predators.

Trump Administration Must Act

Thankfully, we now have a president who actually stands up for the most vulnerable. President Trump's team has already signaled they'll be taking a hard look at the FDA's reckless approval of mail-order abortion drugs – a policy that puts ideology over women's safety.

Patriots across America are watching as Democrats like Hassan reveal their true priorities. When forced to choose between protecting women or protecting the abortion industry's bottom line, they choose Big Abortion every single time.

How long will Americans tolerate politicians who care more about abortion access than protecting women from the predators who exploit that very system?

This is why we can't give an inch on this issue.

Unbelievable! Which senator said this exactly? We need names so we can vote them out in the next election.

The article doesn't specify but we need accountability either way.

The casual way they dismiss serious ethical concerns is telling. These are the same people who claim to care about human rights while defending practices that would make dictators proud.

Mail-order abortion pills with zero medical supervision? What could possibly go wrong? These politicians don't care about women's safety, just their agenda.

This is absolutely disgusting. How can anyone defend forced abortions as just 'part of history' - that sounds like something straight out of China's playbook.

Exactly! The left keeps moving the goalposts on what's acceptable.

As someone who's seen what abortion has done to our society over the past 50 years, this rhetoric is truly scary. We're normalizing the worst parts of human history instead of learning from them.
