President Trump's State Department delivered on another America First promise Wednesday, announcing an immediate freeze on immigrant visa processing for citizens of 75 countries whose migrants "take welfare from the American people at unacceptable rates."

This bold move puts foreign nationals on notice: if you want to come to America, you better be prepared to work and contribute, not drain resources from hardworking American families who are already struggling under Biden's economic disaster.

The visa freeze represents exactly the kind of common-sense immigration reform that Trump campaigned on and that millions of Americans voted for. Why should we continue importing poverty and welfare dependence when our own citizens are facing record inflation and economic hardship?

America First Immigration Policy

Under the previous administration, our immigration system became a joke – a revolving door for anyone who wanted to cash in on American generosity. Biden's open border policies allowed millions to flood in, many of whom immediately signed up for government benefits funded by your tax dollars.

Now Trump is doing what every sovereign nation should do: putting its own citizens first. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's department is finally asking the hard questions about which countries are sending us productive immigrants versus welfare recipients.

"This administration will not subsidize foreign populations at the expense of American taxpayers," a State Department official confirmed.

The 75-country freeze affects nations across multiple continents, though specific countries weren't immediately disclosed. What matters is the principle: if your country's emigrants consistently become welfare burdens rather than contributors, your visa privileges get suspended. Period.

Protecting American Workers

This isn't about being anti-immigrant – it's about being pro-American. Legal immigrants who work hard and assimilate are welcome. But the days of importing dependency are over.

Patriots across the country are celebrating this decisive action. After four years of Biden's America Last policies, we finally have leadership that remembers its duty is to American citizens first, not the rest of the world.

How many more billions will Trump's immigration reforms save American taxpayers? The deep state won't like losing their globalist agenda, but we the people are winning again.

About time someone had the backbone to address this issue. I've seen firsthand in my community how the system gets abused while hardworking Americans struggle to make ends meet.

Finally! This should have been done years ago. Our tax dollars should go to helping Americans first, not people who come here just to collect benefits.

Exactly right! America First means taking care of our own citizens before anyone else.

Does anyone know which specific countries are on this list? I'm curious if it includes the ones we all suspect have been the biggest problems.

I'd like to know too. The article should have included the full list of 75 countries.

This is exactly why I voted for Trump! He actually follows through on his promises to put America first.

As someone who served this country for 20 years, it always bothered me seeing people come here and immediately get on welfare. Meanwhile our veterans wait months for benefits they earned through service.
