DESPERATE: Schumer Launches Pathetic Housing Attack on Trump Just Days Into Second Term

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is wasting no time launching desperate political attacks against President Donald Trump, barely two weeks into the 47th President's second term. Speaking at the far-left Center for American Progress on Thursday, the New York Democrat attempted to frame housing affordability as Trump's problem – conveniently forgetting who created this crisis in the first place.

This is rich coming from Schumer, whose party just spent four years destroying the American economy and making homeownership a distant dream for millions of working families. Under the disastrous Biden regime, housing costs skyrocketed while wages stagnated, leaving entire generations priced out of the market.

Now, with Trump back in the White House and already taking decisive action to fix America's problems, Schumer is panicking. The Democrats know their time of economic sabotage is over, and they're terrified that Trump's pro-growth, America First policies will once again deliver prosperity to hardworking Americans.

Democrats Created the Housing Crisis

Let's be clear about what really happened here. For four years, the Biden administration's reckless spending, inflation-fueling policies, and regulatory stranglehold on businesses drove up costs across the board. Housing became unaffordable not because of market forces, but because of government failure.

Meanwhile, Trump's first term delivered the strongest economy in decades, with rising wages and increasing homeownership rates. His pro-business policies and deregulation agenda created opportunities for Americans to build wealth and achieve the American Dream.

"Schumer's political theater won't fool anyone who lived through the Biden disaster," said one GOP strategist. "Americans remember who delivered results and who delivered failure."

The timing of Schumer's attack reveals everything about the Democrats' strategy: create problems, blame Republicans, then offer government solutions that only make things worse. It's the same playbook they've used for decades.

President Trump has already signaled his commitment to addressing housing affordability through his proven approach of cutting regulations, unleashing American energy, and putting American workers first. Unlike the Democrats' big government schemes, Trump's solutions actually work.

Will Americans fall for Schumer's desperate deflection tactics, or will they remember who really delivered economic prosperity? The answer seems obvious to anyone paying attention.

I work in housing development and can tell you the regulations and red tape from the previous administration made it nearly impossible to build affordable units. Maybe Schumer should look in the mirror before pointing fingers.

Schumer is absolutely desperate! The American people saw right through their failed policies and now they're scrambling.

This! They know Trump's policies actually work so they have to try to sabotage him from day one.

They can't even let Trump get settled in before attacking him! This is exactly why we voted these Democrats out - they care more about politics than actually solving problems.

Absolutely right! Give the man a chance to actually govern before launching these desperate attacks.

What specific housing policies is Schumer even criticizing? Trump just got sworn in - seems like manufactured outrage to me.
