Thanedar's timing couldn't be more tone-deaf or destructive. While President Trump prepares to launch the largest deportation operation in American history to remove criminal illegal aliens who have terrorized communities across the nation, this radical Democrat wants to eliminate the very agency tasked with protecting American citizens.
The Left's War on Border Security Continues
The Michigan congressman claimed ICE is "beyond reform," parroting the same anti-law enforcement rhetoric that has plagued the Democrat Party for years. This is the same party that defunded police, opened our borders to millions of illegal aliens, and turned American cities into sanctuary havens for criminals.
What Thanedar and his fellow Democrats refuse to acknowledge is that ICE agents are heroes who risk their lives daily to remove dangerous criminals, human traffickers, and drug dealers from our communities. These brave men and women have been working overtime to clean up the mess left by four years of the disastrous Biden border crisis.
"ICE agents have apprehended thousands of violent criminals who entered our country illegally. Abolishing this critical agency would be a gift to cartels, traffickers, and every criminal who wants to exploit our broken immigration system."
This radical proposal comes as Americans overwhelmingly support Trump's immigration agenda. Voters delivered a decisive mandate in 2024 precisely because they're fed up with Democrats prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens.
