During a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee hearing, Hassan had the audacity to accuse Republican senators of "gaslighting" Americans about the very real dangers of mail-order mifepristone – the abortion drug that can be easily obtained online and has become a weapon of choice for abusers seeking to terminate pregnancies against women's will.
But here's the kicker, Patriots: When confronted with the documented cases of forced abortions and violence against pregnant women, Hassan's response was essentially a cold shrug. She claimed that violence against pregnant women is a "longstanding part of human history."
"This is just gaslighting the American people about the realities of reproductive healthcare," Hassan said, completely ignoring the testimonies of women who have been victimized by abusers using these very drugs.
