The New York Times—the same establishment mouthpiece that spent years calling President Donald Trump a "Nazi," "fascist," and every other vile smear in the book—is now suddenly concerned about offensive language. The irony would be hilarious if it weren't so pathetically hypocritical.
According to reports, the Times has taken issue with certain language used to describe women, apparently finding such terms beyond the pale. This from the very publication that has spent the better part of a decade launching the most vicious personal attacks imaginable against Trump, his family, and his supporters.
Where was this moral outrage when they were comparing the 47th President of the United States to Adolf Hitler? Where were these standards when they were calling half of America "deplorables" and "fascists" for supporting America First policies?
The Left's Selective Morality on Full Display
This is classic liberal media hypocrisy, folks. They'll throw around the most inflammatory, historically ignorant comparisons when it suits their political agenda, but the moment someone uses language they don't approve of, suddenly they're the arbiters of civil discourse.
The Times spent years poisoning the minds of their readers with non-stop Trump hatred, contributing to the toxic political climate that led to multiple assassination attempts against our President. But now they want to lecture us about appropriate language?
"Everyone lives by a moral code. But some, it seems, are more flexible than others," as PJ Media aptly noted.
The American people see right through this charade. The same media that spent four years calling Trump supporters "semi-fascists" and "threats to democracy" doesn't get to suddenly play the civility card now that their guy lost decisively.
This is why trust in mainstream media has collapsed to historic lows. Patriots across the country are sick and tired of the left's double standards and selective outrage. The Times can keep their crocodile tears—we're not buying what they're selling anymore.
