The Swamp Fights Back
The establishment is in full panic mode as the Stop Insider Trading Act advanced out of committee on a seven-to-four vote. Why are lawmakers on both sides suddenly sweating? Because this isn't just about Nancy Pelosi's husband's perfectly timed stock picks anymore – this is about an entire rigged system being dragged into the sunlight.
Even Republican lawmakers aren't immune. One GOP congressman conveniently dumped $130,000 in Medicaid-linked stocks just seven days before voting to slash nearly a trillion dollars from Medicaid programs. The swamp runs deep on both sides of the aisle.
