The radical left's attempt to seize another moderate House seat is already showing cracks, as progressive darling Analilia Mejia faces an uphill battle to replace Gov.-elect Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey's 11th Congressional District.

Mejia, who served as national political director for Bernie Sanders-style progressives, is discovering that what plays well in AOC's Twitter echo chamber doesn't necessarily resonate with real voters in New Jersey's competitive suburban district. The same progressive endorsements that energized her base could be the kiss of death in a district that requires actual moderation to win.

This is exactly the kind of Democrat infighting that patriots love to see. While Sherrill managed to hold this purple seat by masquerading as a moderate, Mejia isn't even bothering with the charade. She's proudly wearing her radical progressive credentials like a badge of honor – and it's already backfiring spectacularly.

The Progressive Problem

Here's what the mainstream media won't tell you: New Jersey's 11th District isn't San Francisco or the Bronx. These are suburban voters who care about kitchen table issues, not woke ideology and socialist pipe dreams. When progressives rally around a candidate, moderate voters take notice – and they don't like what they see.

Mejia's association with the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democrat Party signals exactly where her priorities lie: more government spending, higher taxes, and the same failed policies that have driven working families out of blue states across America.

The fact that Democrats are already worried about holding onto what should be a safe seat tells you everything you need to know about the state of their party. When your own progressive base becomes a liability, you know you're in trouble.

Will New Jersey voters reject another radical progressive, or will they sleepwalk into electing someone who'll rubber-stamp the failed policies that have made life harder for working Americans? The answer could determine whether Republicans continue their winning streak in 2026.

Good to see the voters rejecting extremism!

These progressives keep trying to flip moderate seats but they're out of touch with working families. My union buddies see right through this stuff.

Same here - most of us just want good jobs and safe neighborhoods, not woke politics.

What specific policies is she pushing that make her so radical? I want to share facts with my neighbors.

This is exactly why the Democratic party is losing moderate voters. They've gone too far left and regular people are noticing.

Finally! New Jersey voters are waking up to these radical progressive candidates. Mejia's socialist agenda doesn't belong in a moderate district.

Completely agree! Her policies would destroy small businesses in our communities.

I attended one of her rallies out of curiosity and couldn't believe how far left she really is. The media isn't covering half of what she actually said about defunding police.
