COMBATIVE: New Jersey Democrat Governor ATTACKS Trump in Inauguration Speech, Promises Four Years of Resistance

New Jersey's new Democrat governor wasted no time declaring war on President Trump, using her inauguration speech to launch into a combative tirade against the 47th President and his America First agenda.

Gov. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ) made it crystal clear that the Garden State will serve as a launching pad for Democrat resistance over the next four years, centering her entire inaugural address around attacking Trump rather than addressing the real problems facing New Jersey families.

After being sworn in on a copy of the New Jersey Constitution, Sherrill immediately pivoted to bashing the President who was just re-elected by a decisive margin from American voters. Rather than focusing on New Jersey's crushing tax burden, crumbling infrastructure, or exodus of residents fleeing to Republican states, Sherrill chose to make Trump the centerpiece of her political theater.

Another Democrat Choosing Politics Over People

This is exactly what we've come to expect from the radical left – instead of governing for the people who elected them, they obsess over Trump and plot ways to obstruct his mandate to secure the border, cut taxes, and put America First.

While Trump focuses on delivering real results like mass deportations of criminal illegal aliens and bringing manufacturing jobs back to America, Sherrill is apparently more interested in being the resistance poster child than fixing New Jersey's problems.

The timing couldn't be more telling. On the same day Trump is working to implement his America First agenda after his landslide victory, New Jersey Democrats are already plotting obstruction and lawfare tactics.

"This is what Democrat governance looks like – more focused on fighting Trump than fighting for their own constituents," one political observer noted.

New Jersey families deserve better than a governor who's more concerned with cable news soundbites than addressing the state's real challenges. But this is par for the course with today's radical Democrat Party – Trump Derangement Syndrome remains their only governing philosophy.

How long will New Jersey residents tolerate a governor who puts anti-Trump politics ahead of their needs?

Four more years of this nonsense! Thank God I moved to Florida last year.

My sister lives in Jersey and she's so fed up with this kind of rhetoric. People want results, not political theater. Focus on lowering taxes and fixing the roads instead of picking fights with Trump.

This is exactly why people are fleeing blue states like New Jersey. Instead of governing, they just want to create drama and resistance.

So instead of focusing on fixing New Jersey's problems, this governor wants to spend the next four years fighting Trump? What about the high taxes and crime rates in his own state?

Exactly! My property taxes went up AGAIN this year and he's worried about national politics. Do your job!

Typical Democrat playbook - create division instead of solutions. New Jersey deserves better leadership than this.

This governor should be working WITH the federal government to help his constituents, not promising four years of obstruction. What a waste of taxpayer money.

Absolutely! Unity starts at the state level. This is just grandstanding.

Combative is right. Can someone explain why a state governor is using his inauguration to attack the President instead of talking about state issues?

Because they have Trump Derangement Syndrome. It's all they know how to do anymore.
