The radical left's disconnect from reality reached new heights Monday when Squad member Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) had the audacity to claim that protesters disrupting ICE operations in Minneapolis have been "peaceful" – while blaming Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol agents for "inflaming tensions."
Speaking on CNN's "The Arena," the Washington Democrat perfectly encapsulated everything wrong with her party's approach to immigration enforcement. While President Trump's administration works to fulfill his mandate to secure America's borders and remove criminal illegal aliens, Jayapal is more concerned with protecting the feelings of protesters than supporting our brave ICE agents.
This is the same Pramila Jayapal who has consistently opposed common-sense immigration enforcement and pushed for defunding ICE entirely. Now she has the nerve to suggest that federal agents – simply doing their jobs under President Trump's directives – are somehow the problem?
"It's not the protesters causing problems, it's ICE and CBP inflaming tensions," Jayapal claimed, apparently with a straight face.
Let's be crystal clear about what's really happening here, Patriots. President Trump promised the American people he would secure our borders and deport criminal illegal aliens who have been allowed to run wild under the disastrous Biden regime. ICE agents are heroes carrying out that mission.
But Democrats like Jayapal would rather side with protesters disrupting law enforcement than support the agents risking their lives to protect American communities. This is exactly the kind of backwards thinking that got America into this immigration crisis in the first place.
The Trump-Vance administration isn't backing down from its promise to restore order to our immigration system, no matter how much the radical left screams about it. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and her team are finally giving ICE the support they need to do their jobs effectively.
When Democrats start blaming law enforcement instead of lawbreakers, you know they've completely lost the plot. How can any rational American trust these people with border security?
