DESPERATE Democrat Governor Wes Moore ADMITS Trump Has Authority for Insurrection Act - Then ATTACKS His 'Moral Clarity'

Maryland Governor Wes Moore just handed President Trump a massive legal victory while simultaneously exposing the left's complete desperation and hypocrisy in one breath-taking admission that has Democrats scrambling for damage control.

During Tuesday's broadcast of MSNBC's "The Briefing," the Democrat governor was forced to acknowledge what constitutional scholars have known all along - that President Trump absolutely has the legal authority to invoke the Insurrection Act when necessary. But then Moore couldn't help himself, launching into a typical leftist character assassination that revealed more about his own moral bankruptcy than Trump's leadership.

"Technically, the president does have the authority to operationalize the Insurrection Act, in the case where something like that becomes essentially your last tool," Moore admitted reluctantly.

But here's where it gets rich, Patriots. After conceding Trump's constitutional authority, Moore then had the audacity to attack the President's "moral clarity" and suggest our brave soldiers would somehow question the legality of orders from their Commander-in-Chief.

This is exactly the kind of undermining rhetoric that weakens our military and emboldens our enemies. Moore is essentially telling our troops to second-guess their lawfully elected President - the same President who just won a decisive mandate from the American people.

Deep State Desperation on Full Display

What we're witnessing here is pure panic from the establishment. They know Trump has the legal tools to restore order and secure our borders, and they're terrified he'll actually use them. So they resort to their tired playbook: admit the facts when cornered, then immediately pivot to character attacks.

The real question Americans should be asking is this: What "moral clarity" did Moore show when his party spent four years calling Trump illegitimate, weaponizing federal agencies against him, and turning our justice system into a political weapon?

President Trump has already demonstrated he puts America First, and if that means using every legal tool at his disposal to protect our nation from invasion and chaos, then so be it. That's exactly the kind of moral clarity we voted for.

Can someone explain exactly what powers the Insurrection Act gives the president? I keep hearing about it but want to understand the specifics.

It allows the president to deploy federal troops domestically to restore order when local authorities can't or won't maintain law and order.

Finally! A Democrat actually admits what we've been saying all along - Trump has the constitutional authority to use the Insurrection Act. Too bad Moore had to throw in that cheap shot about 'moral clarity' at the end.

Exactly! They can't help themselves - even when they're forced to admit the truth, they have to add their partisan attacks.

This is what desperation looks like folks. Moore knows he can't argue with the law so he tries to make it about character instead.

Moore talking about 'moral clarity' is rich coming from the party that spent four years calling Trump illegitimate. The hypocrisy is astounding.

I lived through the riots in 2020 and watched my city burn while local Democrats did nothing. If Trump can use federal authority to prevent that chaos again, I'm all for it.

At least Moore is being honest about Trump's legal authority, even if he can't resist the political jabs. That's more than most Democrats will admit these days.
