EXPOSED: Trump Calls Out Tim Walz's SHAMEFUL Defense of Criminals Who Burned Minneapolis

President Donald Trump is once again holding the radical left accountable, and this time his target is Minnesota Governor Tim Walz—the same man Democrats tried to put a heartbeat away from the Oval Office last year.

Trump has been reminding Americans of Walz's disgraceful response during the 2020 riots that devastated Minneapolis, when the governor not only failed to protect his constituents but actively defended the violent mobs that burned businesses, destroyed livelihoods, and terrorized innocent citizens.

A Governor Who Sided With the Mob

Remember the summer of 2020? While Minneapolis burned following the George Floyd incident, Governor Walz sat on his hands. Buildings were torched. Small businesses—many owned by minorities and immigrants who had spent decades building their American dream—were reduced to ashes. The Third Precinct police station was overrun and set ablaze while cops retreated.

And what did Tim Walz do? He waited. He hesitated. He let the destruction continue for days before finally calling in the National Guard—a decision that came far too late for the hundreds of business owners who lost everything.

But it gets worse.

Comparing Rioters to the Founding Fathers

In a stunning display of moral bankruptcy, Walz and his allies attempted to frame these violent criminals as somehow noble. The radical left's playbook was in full effect: excuse the inexcusable, defend the indefensible, and gaslight Americans into believing that burning down a Wendy's is comparable to the Boston Tea Party.

President Trump has never let the American people forget this betrayal. While Walz was making excuses for arsonists and looters, Trump was offering federal assistance to restore order—assistance that Democratic governors and mayors repeatedly rejected because they cared more about opposing Trump than protecting their own citizens.

"They let their cities burn. They let innocent people suffer. And now they want us to forget," Trump has reminded supporters. "We will NEVER forget."

The Real Victims Exposed

The human cost of Walz's weakness is staggering. Over 1,500 businesses were damaged or destroyed in Minneapolis alone. The estimated damage exceeded $500 million—making it one of the costliest incidents of civil unrest in American history. Many of those business owners never recovered. They lost their life savings, their employees lost their jobs, and entire neighborhoods were hollowed out.

These weren't wealthy corporations. These were immigrant families running grocery stores. Black entrepreneurs operating barbershops. Working-class Americans who played by the rules, only to watch their dreams go up in smoke while their governor worried about being called mean names by CNN.

Why This Still Matters

Democrats hoped America would have short memories. They hoped we'd forget that Tim Walz—Kamala Harris's running mate—was the same governor who let his state descend into chaos while defending those responsible as misunderstood activists.

President Trump isn't letting that happen.

As the Trump administration works to restore law and order across America, the contrast couldn't be clearer. On one side, you have leaders who believe in protecting innocent citizens and holding criminals accountable. On the other, you have people like Tim Walz, who would rather watch cities burn than be criticized by the woke mob.

The American people rejected Walz and Harris in November 2024. But the exposure of their failures—and their dangerous ideology—must continue. Because the radicals haven't gone away. They're just waiting for another opportunity.

Patriots, we can never let them have one.

This is exactly why we need Trump back in office! He understands law and order actually matters.

How is Walz even being considered for VP after this disaster? The double standard from the media is unbelievable.

I live 20 minutes from Minneapolis and watched it all happen. Walz waited way too long to call in the National Guard and innocent people paid the price. My friend's restaurant was destroyed and insurance didn't cover riot damage.

Finally someone is calling out Walz for what he really is! Trump is absolutely right - Walz stood by and watched Minneapolis burn while good people lost their businesses and livelihoods.

Exactly! And then he had the nerve to call it 'mostly peaceful protests' while the city was literally on fire.

Trump is spot on as usual! Walz threw our police under the bus when they needed support most.
