Sanders' latest tantrum comes as Americans are witnessing the exact OPPOSITE of authoritarianism – Trump is systematically reducing federal power, cutting regulations, and returning authority to states and individuals where it belongs. Meanwhile, Sanders conveniently forgets who spent the last four years weaponizing federal agencies against political opponents.
"It's rich hearing Bernie talk about authoritarianism when his socialist agenda literally requires massive government control over every aspect of American life," political analyst Mike Davis told reporters. "Trump is the one actually REDUCING government power and restoring individual liberty."
The irony is staggering – Sanders supports policies that would give Washington bureaucrats control over healthcare, energy, housing, and even what Americans can say online, yet he calls Trump the authoritarian.
