The mask slipped again on CNN when a left-wing panelist "accidentally" slandered President Donald Trump by falsely linking him to Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking ring – then scrambled with a pathetic apology when called out on live television.

Gun-control activist Cameron Kasky made the outrageous accusation during a CNN panel discussion before being immediately confronted by commentator Scott Jennings. Realizing he'd just committed potential slander against the sitting President of the United States, Kasky quickly tried to walk back his smear with the laughable excuse that he said it "by accident."

"I said that by accident and didn't mean it," Kasky claimed in a social media apology posted Tuesday, as if accidentally accusing the President of involvement in child sex trafficking is something that just slips out during normal conversation.

This is exactly the kind of reckless, Trump-deranging behavior we've come to expect from CNN and the radical left. How do you "accidentally" accuse someone of one of the most heinous crimes imaginable? The answer is simple: you can't. This was a deliberate smear that backfired spectacularly when Kasky realized he might face legal consequences.

"Many called on the president to sue the activist over the comments that could be considered slanderous," according to reports, and they're absolutely right.

Patriots across social media are demanding President Trump take legal action against both Kasky and CNN for allowing this defamatory attack to air. This isn't just about one activist's "accident" – it's about the systematic campaign of lies and character assassination that the mainstream media has waged against Trump for nearly a decade.

The irony is rich: Kasky, a gun-control advocate who probably lectures Americans about "dangerous rhetoric," just casually threw around accusations of child sex trafficking against the President. Where's the concern about dangerous rhetoric now?

President Trump has already proven he's willing to take on fake news outlets in court. CNN and their reckless panelists might want to think twice before their next "accidental" slander. The Trump administration doesn't mess around, and neither should patriotic Americans when it comes to defending our President from these disgusting lies.

Should President Trump sue CNN and Kasky into oblivion for this "accidental" defamation? The American people deserve accountability from the corrupt media machine.

This is exactly why I stopped watching CNN years ago. They throw out these wild accusations without any proof, then when called out they give some weak apology thinking that fixes everything.

Same here! Their credibility went out the window long ago.

Does anyone have a link to the actual video clip? I want to see this trainwreck for myself.

Notice how they always 'accidentally' slander conservatives but never seem to make these same mistakes about Democrats? The bias is so obvious it's laughable.

CNN's ratings are in the toilet for a reason. People are tired of this garbage masquerading as journalism.

Exactly! Their viewership numbers speak volumes about what Americans really think of their so-called reporting.
