White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller delivered a blistering takedown of Democrats Monday after they rushed to condemn Border Patrol agents involved in a fatal shooting of an armed suspect in Minneapolis over the weekend.
A Border Patrol agent was forced to use deadly force Saturday when confronted by an armed Minneapolis man who posed a clear threat. But instead of backing our brave law enforcement officers, Democrats immediately launched into their usual anti-cop rhetoric and demanded "investigations" into the agents who were simply doing their job.
Miller, President Trump's trusted immigration enforcer, wasn't having any of it. He correctly pointed out that Democrats are once again siding with criminals and terrorists over the men and women who risk their lives to keep Americans safe.
"It's disgraceful but not surprising that Democrats would rather defend armed criminals than support our Border Patrol agents," Miller said in his statement. "This is exactly the kind of anti-American sentiment we're fighting against."
This latest attack on Border Patrol comes as President Trump's mass deportation operation is ramping up across the country. Democrats know they're losing the immigration battle badly, so they're desperately trying to demonize our border security agents at every turn.
Same Old Democrat Playbook
We've seen this movie before, Patriots. Every time law enforcement does their job - whether it's ICE, Border Patrol, or local police - radical Democrats immediately assume the criminals are the victims. They rush to judgment, demand investigations, and try to handcuff our officers with endless red tape.
But this is Trump's America now. We back the badge, not the bad guys. Our Border Patrol agents have the full support of this administration as they secure our borders and remove dangerous criminals from our communities.
The American people are sick and tired of Democrats who care more about protecting illegal aliens and armed criminals than they do about keeping law-abiding citizens safe. November proved that, and every day of Trump's second term will reinforce it.
