BREAKING: Noem Labels Minneapolis Violence 'DOMESTIC TERRORISM,' Warns Trump May Deploy Insurrection Act

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem isn't mincing words about the chaos erupting in Minneapolis – she's calling it what it is: domestic terrorism. And she's placing the blame squarely where it belongs: on the shoulders of Democrat Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.

Following a deadly Border Patrol shooting that has sparked violent unrest across the Twin Cities, Noem warned that the Trump administration is actively considering invoking the Insurrection Act to restore order where local Democrat leaders have failed miserably.

"What we're seeing in Minneapolis is nothing short of domestic terrorism, enabled by the same failed Democrat leadership that allowed the city to burn in 2020,"
Noem declared during a press briefing.
"Governor Walz and Mayor Frey have blood on their hands for their inflammatory rhetoric that has directly incited this violence."

Democrats Playing With Fire – Again

Sound familiar, Patriots? This is the same Tim Walz who stood by and watched Minneapolis burn during the 2020 BLM riots, the same weak leader who let anarchists take over entire city blocks while law-abiding Americans cowered in fear. Now he's Kamala Harris's failed VP pick, and he's still enabling chaos in his own backyard.

The Trump administration's willingness to consider federal intervention under the Insurrection Act sends a clear message: unlike the weak Biden regime that coddled rioters and defunded police, President Trump won't tolerate domestic terrorists destroying American cities.

Secretary Noem's forceful response represents everything Americans voted for in November – strong leadership that puts public safety first and holds Democrat enablers accountable for their failures. While Walz and Frey play politics with people's lives, the Trump administration is preparing to do what it takes to restore law and order.

The question every American should be asking: How many more cities will Democrats sacrifice on the altar of their radical ideology before we say enough is enough?

Kristi Noem continues to be one of the few governors willing to speak truth. The media keeps calling this civil unrest but domestic terrorism is the accurate term.

Finally someone with the backbone to call it what it is! This isn't protesting, it's terrorism plain and simple.

Exactly right. When you're burning down businesses and attacking innocent people, you've crossed the line from protest to terrorism.

This is why we moved out of blue cities five years ago. The writing was on the wall that local Democrats wouldn't protect law-abiding citizens when push came to shove.

My brother owns a small business in Minneapolis and had to board up his windows last week. These aren't peaceful protesters - they're destroying people's livelihoods.

I support Gov. Noem's strong stance here, but I'm concerned about federal overreach with the Insurrection Act. What are the legal parameters for deployment?

The Act requires that state authorities be unable or unwilling to protect citizens' rights. Seems like Minneapolis qualifies unfortunately.
