The desperation is already setting in for Democrats, and we're barely two weeks into President Trump's second term. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) appeared on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday to float the ridiculous claim that Trump is somehow trying to "interfere in the upcoming 2026 election."
Let that sink in, Patriots. We're talking about elections that are still nearly two years away, and Democrats are already crying foul. What's Murphy's evidence of this supposed "interference"? Apparently, the crime is Trump actually governing and implementing the America First agenda that 76 million Americans voted for.
This is the same playbook we've seen before. When Democrats can't win on the merits of their failed policies, they resort to conspiracy theories and election interference claims. Remember how they spent four years claiming Trump was an "illegitimate president" after 2016? Now they're pre-emptively setting up excuses for their inevitable losses in 2026.
"What Murphy and his fellow Democrats refuse to acknowledge is that Trump won decisively in 2024 precisely because Americans rejected their radical agenda."
The irony here is rich. This is coming from the party that weaponized the Justice Department, colluded with Big Tech to censor conservatives, and used bogus investigations to try to prevent Trump from running again. But somehow Trump is the one "interfering" with elections by - checks notes - being President?
What Murphy and his fellow Democrats refuse to acknowledge is that Trump won decisively in 2024 precisely because Americans rejected their radical agenda of open borders, woke indoctrination, and economic destruction. Now Trump is delivering on his promises with mass deportations, government efficiency through DOGE, and America First policies.
Democrats know they're in trouble. With Trump's approval ratings climbing as he dismantles the administrative state and puts America first, they're already making excuses for the red wave that's coming in 2026. Murphy's desperate claims are just the beginning - expect more unhinged conspiracy theories as Democrats realize their time in the political wilderness is just getting started.
The question isn't whether Trump is "interfering" - it's whether the American people will see through these pathetic attempts to undermine our democratically elected President.
