Just days into President Trump's second term, Democrat governors are already showing their true colors—attacking our brave Border Patrol agents for doing their jobs and protecting American lives from armed criminals.
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and New York's Kathy Hochul rushed to condemn the Trump administration after Customs and Border Protection agents fatally shot a man who the Department of Homeland Security confirms was armed with a gun in Minneapolis. Instead of thanking law enforcement for neutralizing a deadly threat, these radical Democrats immediately went on the attack against the very agents risking their lives to keep us safe.
This is the same playbook we've seen for years—Democrats reflexively side with criminals over cops, chaos over order, and lawlessness over the rule of law. While President Trump is working to secure our border and restore law and order to our streets, Democrat governors are busy undermining the very agents trying to protect their own constituents.
The hypocrisy is staggering. These are the same Democrats who spent four years under Biden allowing millions of illegal aliens to pour across our border, including dangerous criminals and gang members. Now that Trump is actually enforcing immigration law and empowering Border Patrol to do their jobs, suddenly Democrats are concerned about 'excessive force.'
Where was this outrage when Biden's open border policies led to countless American deaths from fentanyl, human trafficking, and violent crime committed by illegal aliens?
Patriots, this incident perfectly illustrates why we needed Trump back in the White House. Our Border Patrol agents shouldn't have to worry about political backlash from radical governors when they're forced to use deadly force against armed criminals. They should know their Commander-in-Chief has their back—and thankfully, President Trump does.
The American people voted for law and order in November. We voted for secure borders and empowered law enforcement. Democrat governors like Pritzker and Hochul can cry all they want, but the adults are back in charge, and we're going to enforce our laws whether the radical left likes it or not.
