BREAKING: Perry Johnson BLASTS Michigan's 'Pathetic' Government, Launches GOP Bid to Replace Whitmer

Michigan Patriots finally have a fighter ready to take on the disaster that Gretchen Whitmer is leaving behind. Businessman Perry Johnson, who made waves during his 2023 presidential run, just announced his bid for Michigan governor with a scathing assessment that should have every conservative cheering: 'Michigan's government is pathetic.'

And frankly, folks, he's not wrong. After years of Whitmer's authoritarian lockdowns, economic destruction, and radical leftist policies, the Great Lakes State desperately needs someone who understands how to actually run something other than Michigan into the ground.

Johnson brings serious business credentials to a race that's shaping up to be a crowded GOP primary battlefield. While the establishment Republicans duke it out with their consultant-approved talking points, Johnson is already throwing haymakers at the failed status quo that has turned Michigan from an industrial powerhouse into another Democratic wasteland.

A Real Outsider Steps Up

Remember when Trump proved that successful businessmen could actually deliver results instead of just empty political promises? Johnson represents that same outsider energy that Michigan desperately needs. He's not some career politician looking for his next government paycheck – he's someone who has actually built something in the real world.

The timing couldn't be more perfect. With President Trump back in the White House and the America First agenda rolling full steam ahead, Michigan needs a governor who will work WITH our movement instead of against it. No more of Whitmer's resistance theater and COVID tyranny.

'Michigan's government is pathetic' – Perry Johnson speaking truth that every hardworking Michigander already knows.

Johnson's entry signals that Michigan Republicans are done playing nice with the failed policies that have driven families and businesses out of the state. While Democrats scramble to find someone to carry on Whitmer's legacy of failure, the GOP primary is becoming a real contest of ideas and leadership.

The question now is simple: Will Michigan Republicans choose another establishment politician, or will they follow Trump's example and pick the outsider who isn't afraid to call out the swamp for what it really is?

Finally! Someone with the backbone to call out Whitmer's failed policies. Perry Johnson has my vote - we need real leadership in Lansing, not more liberal nonsense.

Absolutely agree! The lockdowns destroyed so many small businesses in our state.

I own a restaurant in Grand Rapids and Whitmer's COVID restrictions nearly put me out of business. Lost half my staff and had to take out massive loans just to survive. We desperately need new leadership that understands what working families are going through.

Same here in Kalamazoo. The arbitrary restaurant closures while big box stores stayed open made no sense whatsoever.

Has Johnson announced his specific policy positions yet? I'm interested but want to know where he stands on Second Amendment issues and school choice before committing my support.

YES! This is exactly what Michigan needs right now.

About time someone stepped up! What's Perry Johnson's background in politics though? I want to make sure he can actually beat Whitmer.

Perry Johnson is spot on about Michigan's government being pathetic. Between the infrastructure failures, rising crime in Detroit, and crushing regulations, this state is heading in the wrong direction fast.

The fact that Johnson is willing to call out the corruption and incompetence in state government shows real courage. Too many politicians dance around the truth instead of speaking plainly to voters like this.

Exactly! We need more candidates who aren't afraid to tell it like it is.
