Another weak-kneed Republican has shown his true colors, folks. Chris Madel, who was running for governor in Minnesota, just threw in the towel on his campaign because he can't stomach President Trump delivering on his core promise to American voters: mass deportation of illegal immigrants.

Madel announced Monday he's ending his gubernatorial bid because he "can no longer align himself" with the GOP's support for Operation Metro Surge - Trump's aggressive ICE enforcement operation targeting criminal aliens in Minnesota. The attorney called Trump's immigration crackdown "an unmitigated disaster."

Really, Chris? An unmitigated disaster? Tell that to the American families who've been victims of crimes committed by people who shouldn't even be in this country. Tell that to the communities overrun by gangs and drug dealers who waltzed across Biden's open border for four years.

Another RINO Shows His True Face

This is exactly the kind of establishment Republican weakness that Trump was elected to eliminate. While patriots across America celebrate ICE finally being unleashed to do their job, Madel is clutching his pearls and running for the hills.

Minnesota desperately needs strong leadership to clean up the mess left by years of radical leftist policies. Instead, Madel proved he's just another country club Republican who talks tough during campaign season but folds the moment real action is required.

"I support legal immigration, but I cannot support operations that tear apart communities and families,"

There it is - the typical RINO talking points that sound like they came straight from a Democratic focus group. "Tear apart communities"? No, Chris - what tears apart communities is allowing criminal aliens to prey on law-abiding citizens while politicians like you wring your hands about optics.

President Trump ran on the largest deportation operation in American history, and voters gave him a decisive mandate to deliver. If Madel can't handle that heat, he has no business seeking higher office anyway.

Minnesota Republicans deserve better than fair-weather conservatives who abandon ship the moment things get real. Good riddance to another swamp creature masquerading as America First.

I'm curious what specifically made this candidate quit - was it just the ICE enforcement or something else? Either way, if you can't handle supporting law and order, find another party.

Good riddance! If you can't stand behind the basic principle of enforcing our immigration laws, you don't belong in the GOP. Trump is doing exactly what he promised.

Exactly right! We need people with backbone, not politicians who fold at the first sign of pressure.

WEAK is right! 🇺🇸

This is exactly what's wrong with Minnesota Republicans - too many RINOs who cave to liberal pressure. We need candidates who actually support conservative values, not ones who run away when things get tough.

Finally someone with the courage to enforce our laws! My family waited 8 years to immigrate here legally - why should others get to cut in line?

Thank you for doing it the right way! My parents did the same thing and it's insulting when people act like enforcement is somehow wrong.
