Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) is demanding a federal investigation into what he calls "organized left-wing extremist groups" operating in Minnesota that are actively targeting ICE agents and obstructing President Trump's mass deportation operations.

In an exclusive interview with the Washington Examiner, Fine revealed disturbing details about coordinated efforts by radical activists to interfere with federal immigration enforcement in Minneapolis, including demonstrations that escalated following a fatal shooting during ICE operations.

"What we're seeing in Minnesota isn't peaceful protest—it's organized obstruction of federal law enforcement," Fine told the Examiner. "These left-wing groups are putting both ICE agents and innocent Americans at risk with their reckless interference."

The Florida Republican's call for investigation comes as the Trump-Vance administration ramps up deportation efforts nationwide, fulfilling a key campaign promise to remove criminal illegal immigrants from American communities. However, Democrat-controlled cities and activist groups continue to resist federal immigration enforcement.

"These radical groups think they're above the law, but they're about to find out that the Trump administration won't tolerate this kind of extremism," Fine declared.

Minnesota has become a flashpoint for immigration enforcement under Trump's second term, with Governor Tim Walz's administration and local Democrat officials openly defying federal immigration laws. The state's large Somali refugee population has been a particular focus of ICE operations targeting individuals with criminal records.

Fine's investigation request specifically targets the funding and coordination behind these protest groups, raising questions about whether out-of-state money from George Soros-linked organizations is fueling the resistance to Trump's deportation agenda.

With Republicans controlling both Congress and the White House, Fine's call for investigation signals that the Trump administration is prepared to use the full force of federal law to crack down on groups that obstruct immigration enforcement.

The question remains: Will these radical left-wing groups finally face consequences for their lawless behavior, or will they continue to put American lives at risk to protect criminal illegal immigrants?

About time someone demanded accountability! These harassment campaigns against ICE are coordinated attacks on our immigration enforcement.

What specific left-wing groups are we talking about here? I'd like to know which organizations are funding these intimidation tactics against federal law enforcement officers.

I live in Minnesota and have seen firsthand how these activist groups operate. They doxx ICE agents and their families, publish their home addresses online, and create an atmosphere of fear. It's domestic terrorism, plain and simple.

That's absolutely unacceptable. No federal agent should have to worry about their family's safety because of their job.

Finally! Someone with the backbone to stand up for our ICE agents who are just doing their jobs. These brave men and women risk their lives every day to keep our communities safe, and they deserve protection from radical leftist harassment.

Absolutely right. My nephew works for ICE and the stories he tells about protesters showing up at agents' homes are terrifying.

Thank you Rep. Fine for standing up for law enforcement. When will the DOJ actually prosecute these groups for intimidating federal officers?
