The far-left mayor, working hand-in-hand with equally radical New York Governor Kathy Hochul, unveiled plans to provide free childcare for 2-year-olds throughout the city, along with other programs for children across the state. But here's the kicker – Mamdani made it crystal clear that immigration status won't matter.
"These are programs for every single New Yorker. These are not programs that are going to ask the immigration status of any one of the children,"
Translation: American taxpayers will be footing the bill to provide free services to families who broke our immigration laws to get here in the first place.
Slap in the Face to Working Families
This announcement comes at the worst possible time for Democrats. President Trump has made mass deportation of illegal immigrants a cornerstone of his second-term agenda, with the full support of the American people who voted decisively for secure borders and law and order.
While hardworking New York families struggle with inflation and high taxes, Mamdani is literally advertising that NYC will roll out the red carpet for anyone who enters our country illegally. It's a direct middle finger to immigration law and the will of the American people.
The timing couldn't be more tone-deaf. As Trump's new immigration enforcement team prepares to restore order to our broken immigration system, blue city mayors like Mamdani are actively working to undermine federal law and drain taxpayer resources.
