Within days of taking office, Spanberger and her Democrat allies in Richmond have unveiled a legislative agenda that reads like a progressive wish list straight out of AOC's playbook. So much for all that campaign rhetoric about working across the aisle and representing all Virginians.
The Same Old Democrat Bait and Switch
This is exactly why President Trump's America First movement resonates with so many hardworking Americans. We're tired of politicians who say one thing to get elected and do another once they're in office. Spanberger campaigned as a pragmatic problem-solver who would focus on kitchen table issues, but her actual governing agenda tells a very different story.
The Virginia GOP saw this coming from miles away. During the campaign, they warned voters that Spanberger's moderate facade was nothing more than electoral camouflage designed to fool independent voters and conservative Democrats who might have buyer's remorse about the Biden years.
"Once they win, they will drop the moderate act faster than you can say 'social justice,'" one Virginia Republican strategist predicted during the campaign. Turns out, he was absolutely right.
A Warning for Patriots Everywhere
What's happening in Virginia should serve as a wake-up call for Americans in every state. The Democrat Party has been completely captured by its radical wing, but they know their true agenda is toxic with mainstream voters. So they lie. They moderate their language, tone down their rhetoric, and present themselves as reasonable alternatives.
But once they get into office? The gloves come off, and the real agenda comes out.
This is why President Trump's decisive 2024 victory was so crucial. Unlike Spanberger and her fellow Democrats, Trump told voters exactly what he planned to do – and he's delivering on every promise.
