The explosive report alleges that Bass personally ordered changes to an official after-action analysis of the fire response, scrubbing damaging information about the Los Angeles Fire Department's failures to protect residents when they needed it most. For months, the embattled Democrat mayor has flat-out denied making any such requests – but now her lies are being exposed.
According to social media reports breaking the story, critical sections were removed from the analysis, including details about how "LAFD chose NOT to fully staff" key positions during the emergency that devastated the Pacific Palisades and Altadena neighborhoods.

Bass's office is now scrambling to deny the reports, with FOX LA noting that her administration "denied reports that said she directed the watering down of an after-action report that detailed alleged failings of the Los Angeles Fire Department." But the damage is done – the evidence is mounting that this administration put politics over public safety.
