Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) launched another unhinged attack on election integrity Thursday, calling the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act "Jim Crow 2.0" during an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."
The SAVE Act, which simply requires voters to provide identification before casting ballots, has become Democrats' latest target as they continue their relentless assault on basic voting security measures that most Americans support.
Schumer's inflammatory rhetoric comes as the Trump administration pushes forward with comprehensive immigration enforcement, including crackdowns on illegal voting by non-citizens. The timing of his comments reveals the desperation of Democrats who know their open-border policies have enabled widespread election vulnerabilities.
"The SAVE Act requiring ID to vote is Jim Crow 2.0," Schumer declared, once again playing the race card to defend indefensible policies.
