Democrat leaders this week issued a list of demands in exchange for votes to fund the Department of Homeland Security – the very agency responsible for enforcing immigration law. It's the same tired playbook we've seen for decades: pretend to support deporting illegal aliens while overcomplicating the process to render it impossible.
But here's the truth Democrats don't want you to know: deportation isn't complicated. You identify illegal aliens, you process them, you send them home. Period.

The Trump-Vance administration should see these Democrat demands for exactly what they are: a desperate attempt to protect the illegal alien population that forms a crucial part of their political base. These are the same people who spent four years under Biden turning America into a sanctuary country for criminals and cartels.
Secretary Kristi Noem at DHS and the entire Trump team know what needs to be done. They have the legal authority, they have the mandate from voters, and they have the moral obligation to restore the rule of law to our immigration system.
The question isn't whether deportations should happen – 77 million Americans already answered that in November. The question is whether Republicans will let Democrats tie them up in bureaucratic red tape or if they'll push forward with the agenda the American people demanded.
